Job description

We’re looking for a visionary marketing leader to build and own the entire marketing engine at a critical growth stage of our company. This isn’t a plug-and-play role—you’ll be writing the playbook, not following one. As the most senior marketing voice in the organization, you’ll have the autonomy and responsibility to shape how we tell our story, engage the market, and drive pipeline through bold, data-backed, and creative execution.

You’ll work cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success to ensure we show up with a unified message across every touchpoint. From elevating our brand and market positioning to turning happy customers into vocal champions, your work will be central to defining our presence in the market—and our trajectory as a company.

We need someone who can operate at both the strategic and tactical level. You’ll set the vision, build the team, and also roll up your sleeves when necessary. We’re an early-stage company, so speed, adaptability, and ownership matter just as much as experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the marketing function end-to-end—brand, demand gen, product marketing, comms, field, customer, and everything in between
  • Define and evolve our market positioning and narrative, especially for highly technical buyers in the DevOps, DevTools, or infrastructure space
  • Build and execute scalable, data-driven demand programs that create qualified pipeline and support complex enterprise sales motions
  • Lead go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Sales and Product, ensuring messaging is consistent, effective, and closely aligned to revenue goals
  • Drive customer marketing and advocacy efforts, including case studies, testimonials, community programs, and advisory boards
  • Own our analyst relations strategy, managing key relationships and driving inclusion in high-impact reports and evaluations
  • Run targeted ABM campaigns for strategic mid-market and enterprise accounts, closely aligned with sales priorities
  • Develop and lead field marketing and event strategies, including regional activations, executive briefings, and technical roundtables
  • Recruit and grow a high-performance marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and impact
  • Act as a key member of the executive team, influencing company strategy and contributing to business-wide decisions

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a VP or senior leadership role
  • Has built and scaled marketing functions in startup or high-growth environments, ideally in technically complex product categories
  • Brings deep familiarity with developer or engineering audiences and knows how to market to them without fluff
  • Has hands-on experience with ABM, revenue marketing, and full-funnel programs that directly impact pipeline and sales velocity
  • Is comfortable with analyst relations and has driven successful Gartner/Forrester outcomes
  • Knows how to build a brand from the ground up—creating a visual identity, a tone of voice, and a point of view that stands out
  • Is both a strategic thinker and a tactical executor—comfortable shifting gears between boardroom strategy and day-to-day campaign execution
  • Operates with urgency, autonomy, and ownership, especially in environments where ambiguity is the norm
