Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in the Wenatchee area is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing, initiating, and coordinating daily life enrichment activities for our active residents, promoting their physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

You will lead group and individual activities, assist with newsletters and events, help decorate for celebrations, coordinate outings, and document participation.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors and leading life enrichment activities.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Friendly, professional, and organized with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in small or large group settings.
• Lead or assist with social, religious, educational, indoor, and outdoor activities.
• Facilitate games, conversations, exercise, art, music, trips, and events.
• Support monthly newsletter coordination.
• Decorate for events and coordinate outings with resident safety in mind.
• Assist the Resident Lifestyle Director as necessary.
