Veterinary Emergency Group The PC seeks a Sonographer to provide ultrasound support across VEG hospitals and training facilities. You will train staff, coordinate regional education, and collaborate with radiology leadership to enhance ultrasound outcomes.

The role emphasizes teaching, adaptability, and advancing VEG’s ultrasound curriculum, with opportunities to travel to regional hospitals and participate in ongoing education programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years veterinary ultrasound experience.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician and/or ultrasound professional.
• Ability to mentor doctors, nurses, and fellow sonographers.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound studies and facilitate ultrasound training at home and regional hospitals.
• Maintain relationships with teleconsultation radiologists for feedback on studies.
• Ensure training content aligns with VEG culture and up-to-date techniques.
• Track skills using a VEG Ultrasound Certificate checklist.
• Lead in program development and training objectives with medical directors and hospital leadership.
• Apply ultrasound curriculum materials such as PowerPoints and videos across teams.
