Job summary

The Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking a credentialed Sonographer to support ultrasound services across VEG hospitals and training facilities. You will perform scans, train teams, and collaborate with emergency doctors to deliver rapid, accurate imaging for urgent cases.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years vet ultrasound experience, strong teaching skills, and a willingness to travel to regional hospitals for hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician or equivalent sonographer certification.
• 0
• Minimum 3+ years veterinary ultrasound experience.
• Experience training clinicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound studies and provide ultrasound training at multiple hospitals
• Maintain relationships with teleconsultation radiologists and seek feedback
• Ensure training content aligns with VEG culture and current techniques
• Track skills with a VEG Ultrasound Certificate checklist
• Contribute to program evaluation and improvements
• Meet with medical directors and radiology education leadership to discuss programs
• Coordinate weekly floor shifts and training duties with hospital leadership
• Assist in developing ultrasound curriculum materials (PowerPoints, videos, simulations)
• Provide educational demonstrations on ultrasound topics across VEG hospitals
