Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Royal Canin brand in Des Moines, IA. This field-based role requires you to live within the territory and travel ~20–30% as needed to meet business goals and support veterinary clinics.

You will translate clinic data into opportunities, develop territory plans, and build strong relationships with decision-makers while working cross-functionally to execute the Vet BU sales strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, ~20–30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics within the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet objectives and budget responsibilities.
