Job summary

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC in Sonoma, CA is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across the North Bay region. You will acquire new business and expand relationships with veterinarians and distributors, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

A hunter mindset and strong data use will guide market decisions. The role requires 3+ years in field sales, proficiency with Salesforce, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of success in field sales or territory management.
• Proven full cycle sales experience with targets met in field-based settings.
• Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, data-driven, and focused on territory development.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 25–50%.
• Located in or near the territory footprint (Sonoma/Marin/Napa counties).

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage the assigned territory through strategic planning and selling skills.
• Create territory optimization strategies to maximize reach and impact.
• Build long-term relationships with veterinarians, practice managers and distributors.
• Use data to assess territory potential and prioritize high-opportunity accounts.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close and maintain CRM hygiene.
• Provide input on marketing programs and distributor promotions.
• Travel extensively within the territory and to regional/national events.
