Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Milwaukee, WI territory to execute the Vet BU strategy and achieve clinic‑level sales goals. The role is field‑based and requires living within the assigned geography.

You will translate clinic data into opportunities, build strong relationships with clinic decision‑makers, and deliver compelling, data‑driven presentations to veterinary staff while collaborating across internal teams to maximize territory performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs to grow clinics in the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision‑makers within the territory.
• Deliver data‑driven presentations addressing veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs to meet objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy effectively in a cross‑functional team environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Line Manager and adjust strategies as needed.
• Manage expenses and sales budgets; complete CRM call reports, expense reports and presentations timely.
