Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager - Royal Canin to drive clinic growth in Central South Carolina, Augusta GA area, and surrounding regions. This field-based, individual contributor role requires Territory planning, data-driven presentations, and cross-functional collaboration with BU teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in sales, veterinary clinic exposure, strong communication, and a willingness to travel 20–30% with overnight stays. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Driver's license with clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required; 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate product, category and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics.
• Establish relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate across BU and organization with stakeholders.
• Build partnerships to meet shared objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional, fluid environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies.
• Manage expense and sales budgets; complete CRM and reports.
