Job summary

Small Door Veterinary is seeking a Veterinary Technician Recruiter to partner with markets across our expanding network and lead talent initiatives that uphold our culture and quality. You’ll build lasting relationships with veterinary technicians and the broader vet community, while assisting with planning for new practice openings.

You will own the full hiring process, travel to clinics, and collaborate with regional leaders to forecast needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (3+ years preferred).
• Track record recruiting veterinary or clinical talent.
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology (animal or human).
• Willingness to travel up to 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main recruiting partner for veterinary technicians in assigned markets.
• Own the full hiring process from outreach to offer letter.
• Plan outreach, build referral networks, and visit clinics.
• Coordinate on-site interviews and prepare leaders ahead of time.
• Maintain an always-on pipeline and engage with the veterinary community.
