In this role, you'll assist professional staff in treating animals admitted to the hospital and help maintain a sanitary, well-organized service. Minimum Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology, biomedical science, animal science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Two years of technical experience in veterinary medicine
Additional Qualifications
Two years’ experience in veterinary dental medicine
Licensed Veterinary Technician certification
Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and billing entry

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Schedule: May require working alternate shifts, holidays, weekends, or on-call duties. Essential personnel must report during campus closures or emergencies unless relieved by a supervisor.

Responsibilities
Patient Care: Support faculty veterinarians with dental procedures, diagnostics, zoonotic disease control, medication administration, medical records, sample collection, and history taking.
Instruction & Support: Assist in anesthesia induction, fluid therapy, and instruct veterinary students in clinical techniques.
Service Maintenance: Maintain supplies, perform equipment checks, enter charges, keep the clinical area organized, and assist in research trials, literature searches, and data collation.
