Job Summary

As an IT Support Technician with TechCentral at Henry Schein One, you will provide intermediate level technical support, including troubleshooting for IT products and services to our dental office customers, field technicians, and field reps.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical support via phone, email, chat, web forms, and in-person requests
• Troubleshoot IT-related products such as Windows OS, servers, desktops, firewalls, routers, access points, backup systems, printers, and healthcare technologies
• Resolve escalated issues from level one technicians
• Document service requests accurately in our ticketing system
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and projects

Day in the Life

• Work remotely within the United States
• Monday–Friday shifts starting at 7, 8, 9, or 10 AM Central Time
• Handle approximately 20 calls and close 10 tickets daily
• Support dental practice customers, typically small businesses

Technical Troubleshooting

• Hardware: desktops, laptops, tablets, servers
• Peripherals: printers, scanners, displays
• Networking: switches, routers, firewalls, access points
• Operating Systems: Windows desktop and server
• Account management, malware removal, backup systems

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant IT support experience or education
• Intermediate knowledge of IT systems, with specialization skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate and lead small projects

Nice to Haves

• Degree in IT field
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft)

Salary range: $20-$23/hr for Tech I, $23-$26/hr for Tech II, based on experience and skills.
