Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health’s WVRC Waukesha location is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician for Emergency responsibilities on a full-time basis during the 3rd shift. You will perform rapid triage, anesthesia monitoring, diagnostics, and critical care in a collaborative environment with veterinarians and support staff.

Qualified candidates hold a CVT license or are eligible within 9 months, with at least 1 year of technician experience; ER experience is a plus.

• CVT licensure is required or eligible to obtain license within 9 months.
• At least 1 year of technician experience (ER experience a plus, not required).
• Comfortable with restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, and nursing care.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellbeing of pets through triage, rapid trauma assessments, diagnostics, emergency stabilization, and comprehensive care.
• Perform restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, nursing tasks, and monitor anesthesia as needed.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Foster a positive, team-focused hospital culture.

Location: Waukesha, WI

Schedule: Full Time | 3rd Shift | 4 Nine Hour Shifts Per Week | Includes Every Other Weekend | Some Holidays Required

Compensation: $24/hr + Dependent On Experience | Applicable Shift Differentials - $5/hr Between The Hours of Midnight and 8am | $3000 Hiring Bonus for CVTs!

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Help support the health and wellbeing of pets through proficient patient triage, rapid trauma assessments, extensive diagnostics, emergency patient stabilization, and comprehensive patient care
• Apply your technical skill set while performing tasks such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, general nursing care, and drug calculations ranging from fluid rates to CRIs, as well as monitoring general anesthesia and more!
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support teams
• Help foster a positive, team-focused hospital culture
