Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health's Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha is seeking a Client Care Specialist to greet clients, manage records, and handle payments in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role supports emergencies and routine visits, with responsibilities including appointment processing, document review, and client education to ensure high-quality care.

This position offers first shift 6am-3pm, three weekdays plus every other weekend and some holidays, with compensation $17-$21

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows-based computer programs.
• Proven effective communication and ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Fluent English skills (speaking and reading) are required; multilinguals a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome our clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner.
• Prepare and review documents and medical records accurately and completely.
• Educate and advise clients regarding WVRC services and practices.
• Process appointments, emergencies, and client requests while ensuring high quality of care.
• Process invoices and payments accurately.
• Update and maintain client/pet records and files per hospital requirements.
• Assist with other administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, emailing.
• Support team to reach common goals.
• Recognize when to seek guidance in client-related cases where protocol does not apply.
• Second Shift Client Care Specialist hours: 3pm-12am and every other weekend/holiday rotation.
