You will assist veterinarians with procedures, monitor anesthesia, maintain medical records, prepare patients for surgery, educate clients, and support a cohesive hospital team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed as a Veterinary Technician in the practicing state.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate, sympathetic, and professional demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, obtain vitals, and document visits in the EMR.
• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Perform patient restraint, collect samples, and dispense medications as directed.
• Maintain medical records and update client/patient records; manage accounts receivable.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor anesthesia, and assist with recovery and discharge.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and ensure patient comfort, safety, and cleanliness.
• Participate in training new staff and disseminate knowledge as required.
• Keep hospital environment neat and schedule-based maintenance.
