Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to provide high-quality care in our Vetco Total Care hospital environment. You will support veterinarians, assist with surgeries and dental procedures, and ensure excellent client communication and patient care.

The role emphasizes compassionate teamwork, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to hospital protocols to deliver exceptional pet care and owner support.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments.
• Must be credentialed Veterinary Technician as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, obtain vitals, and document patient history in EMR.
• Assist veterinarians with routine and emergency procedures, surgery, and dentistry.
• Perform patient restraint, collect lab samples, and dispense medications as directed.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, relay test results, and manage records/inventory.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor anesthetized patients, and assist with discharge.
