Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, record vital signs, and begin patient history in the electronic medical record.
• Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgeries, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Perform restraint, collect laboratory samples, dispense medications, and maintain records.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, relay test results, manage inventory and accounts receivable.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor anesthesia, and discharge or transfer as needed.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and ensure patient comfort, cleanliness, and safety.
• Participate in training of new staff and maintain a clean hospital environment.
• Provide backup front desk and phone support as needed.
