Job summary

The American Veterinary Group Talent Acquisition Partner reports to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and leads full-cycle recruitment for employed (W2) and relief veterinarians across an assigned geographic territory. You will manage the candidate journey from sourcing through interview, offer and placement, while building relationships with candidates and operational leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience recruiting healthcare professionals; veterinary recruiting is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with a focus on shared success.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to advise candidates on compensation.

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment cycle for relief DVM and W2 employed DVMs in the region.
• Build and maintain pipelines of active and passive candidates.
• Source new DVM candidates and regularly update existing ones.
• Coordinate with hiring managers through the process and communicate status.
• Maintain candidate activity, pipeline health and market coverage.
• Maintain ATS/CRM records with accurate data.
• Fill DVM positions focusing on placement and retention.
• Report recruiting progress to leadership and address bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with credentialing, onboarding, and HR for compliance.
• Forecast staffing needs with leaders and staff events for campuses.
