Job summary

Banfield Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to deliver exceptional client and pet experiences while supporting the Practice Manager and COS in leading the team to maximize productivity and profitability. The Shift Lead will also perform Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties as needed.

The role requires supervising daily operations, ensuring high-quality care, and maintaining Banfield protocols and dress guidelines while promoting our Five Principles.

Qualifications

• Two years of veterinary hospital experience required.
• Ability to work at a computer for long periods.
• Comfortable around a variety of pets (dog, cat, birds, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Supervise team to ensure quality medical care and exceptional client service.
• Assist Practice Manager and COS to maximize hospital productivity and profitability.
• Perform Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties when needed.
• Schedule associates to meet client needs and plan time off and CE.
• Assist Practice Manager and COS to maximize productivity and hospital profitability.
