Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital seeks a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional client and patient experiences. You will assist the Practice Manager and COS to maximize hospital productivity and communicate effectively with clients, staff, and internal stakeholders.

The Shift Lead will perform Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties as needed, while maintaining Banfield standards and compliance in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Comfortable working around pets and in a loud environment.
• Ability to work at a computer for long periods.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to the hospital team to maximize productivity and patient care.
• Assist Practice Manager and COS in guiding the team and ensuring effective communication with clients and staff.
• Perform Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties when needed.
• Schedule staff to meet client needs and plan CE and time off.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures and dress guidelines.
