Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to perform duties of a Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant when needed, supporting Practice Manager and COS. This role focuses on maximizing productivity, ensuring high-quality care, and delivering exceptional client service. Weekend and evening availability is required.

The Shift Lead will help schedule associates, maintain compliance with practice policies, and uphold Banfield standards while fostering a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
• Provide professional, efficient client service and education.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the hospital team during shifts to maximize productivity and service quality.
• Ensure adherence to Banfield protocols and dress/grooming guidelines.
• Provide client education on wellness plans, preventive care, and hospital services.
• Support scheduling and staffing to meet client needs and CE planning.
