Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to assume duties of a Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant when needed, supporting the Practice Manager and COS to drive team productivity and quality care for pets and clients.

You will supervise daily activities, uphold Banfield protocols, and promote exceptional client service while maintaining a positive team culture. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Able to work weekend and evening shifts.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Act as Shift Lead and perform duties of Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant as needed.
• Coordinate with Practice Manager or COS to guide the team and maximize productivity.
• Ensure effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders and colleagues.
• Schedule associates to meet client needs and plan time off and CE scheduling.
• Ensure adherence to Banfield policies, dress and grooming guidelines, and quality of care.
