Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to drive client and pet experiences while supporting the Practice Manager and COS. The role includes guiding the team, ensuring productive operations, and maintaining Banfield standards.

The Shift Lead will also cover Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties as needed, lead day-to-day supervision, and help schedule staff and CE. Strong communication and veterinary knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client and pet experiences.
• Assist the Practice Manager and/or Chief of Staff to maximize hospital productivity and profitability.
• Perform duties of Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant when needed.
• Supervise the team daily and ensure quality medical care and exceptional client service.
• Schedule associates to meet client needs and proactively plan time off and CE scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with all practice policies and procedures and dress guidelines.
