Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals hires a Shift Lead to perform the duties of a CSC and veterinary assistant, while guiding paraprofessional staff across shifts and ensuring leadership onsite to support clients and associates. The role helps maximize hospital productivity and works with Practice Manager and COS to ensure effective communication with clients and teams.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will coordinate client flow, supervise staff, assist with surgeries as applicable, educate clients

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or veterinary technician certification/licensure preferred.
• Two years experience in healthcare, veterinary or service industry required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a CSC and veterinary assistant/technician as needed.
• Promote hospital services and recruit new clients.
• Manage client flow to maximize productivity and client care.
• Assist with surgery as applicable.
• Lead and mentor paraprofessional staff.
