Job summary

Careerwebsite seeks an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist in Belton, TX. You will greet clients, manage scheduling, collect medical history, and coordinate with veterinarians and staff to ensure a smooth visit for every patient.

Responsibilities include phone handling, data entry, processing payments, and supporting immunization and treatment status checks. Prior veterinary experience preferred; lifting requirements apply and weekend shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Weekend availability may be required.
• Comfortable lifting 30–50 lbs.
• Minimum 1 year of veterinary reception/clinic experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
• Process invoices payments
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
• Determine the status of the patient's immunizations and tests
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient's arrival and necessary treatments
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
• Accurately input data into computer software
