CareVet is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to greet clients, schedule appointments, and manage payments in our hospital setting. You will check in clients, discharge patients, and help maintain medical records while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience.
• Customer service experience required.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Tech savviness and comfort with computer systems.
• Team oriented with strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and discharge patients, and handle invoicing.
• Provide customer service, greet clients, answer questions, process visits, and handle payments.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and relay messages to doctors and staff.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email.
• Update and file patient charts.
• Enter data into the billing system.
• Retrieve prescriptions.
• Assist with pet supply purchases such as food, supplements, and grooming items.
• Maintain the cleanliness of waiting room.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Retail sales.
