Qualifications

• 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and vaccination protocols is a plus.
• Proficiency in appointment scheduling, records management, and payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients; verify/update medical records and appointment details.
• Answer and manage a multi-line telephone system; respond to scheduling and prescription inquiries.
• Process payments, post charges, explain invoices, and schedule follow-ups.
• Communicate medical information compassionately, including end-of-life discussions.
• Maintain accurate EMR/PIMS data entry and organize reception area.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Maintain reception area cleanliness and a positive client experience.
