Veterinary Practice Parnters is seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinary receptionist to serve as the primary contact for clients and their pets. This role balances administrative precision with warmth across a wide range of interactions, including emotionally sensitive situations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software is preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and vaccination protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients, verify and update medical records, and confirm appointment details using practice management software.
• Answer and manage a multi-line telephone system, respond to scheduling, refill, and information requests.
• Process payments, post charges, and schedule follow-ups at checkout.
• Communicate medical information and care instructions empathetically, including end-of-life discussions.
• Maintain accurate EMR and data entry in the PIMS/Vet system.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to manage client communications and patient flow.
• Keep reception area clean and welcoming.
