Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software (Cornerstone/Avimark/ImproMed/eVetPractice/ezyVet).
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology, vaccination protocols, and basic diagnostic procedures.
• Proficiency in appointment scheduling, multi-line phone management, medical records management, and payments.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to handle high-volume client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients, verify/update records, and confirm appointments using practice software.
• Answer multi-line phone system; respond to scheduling, refills, vaccination records, and general information.
• Process payments, post charges, explain invoices, and schedule follow-ups.
• Communicate medical information and care instructions, including sensitive discussions.
• Maintain EMR/PIMS data entry and ensure accurate patient records.
