Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. This full-time role covers front-desk and patient-care support, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays, allowing most weekends off.

You will welcome clients, manage appointments, and assist with exams and records in a collaborative clinic culture that values work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant or in a similar veterinary role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with animal handling and supporting patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets warmly and create a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and help clients with questions.
• Check clients and patients in and out efficiently.
• Process payments and keep client and patient records accurate.
• Relay messages and coordinate with veterinarians and team members to keep the day running smoothly.
• Help with prescription and food requests according to hospital procedures.
• Assist the medical team with exam room support and patient care as needed.
