Job summary

Community Animal Hospital of Royal Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our AAHA-accredited team. You’ll welcome clients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and process payments in a busy, supportive front desk.

This full-time role offers a four-day week, no nights or emergencies, ongoing training, and employee pet discounts. Prior veterinary software experience is a plus, but training will be provided to help you shine.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and compassion.
• Respond to client emails and support client communication needs.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate daily patient flow.
• Welcome clients and patients while creating a positive first impression.
• Maintain and update client and patient records accurately.
• Process invoices and collect payments for services and medications.
• Educate clients on preventive products, including heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
• Assist clients with pet food, over-the-counter products, and hospital services.
• Operate multi-line phone systems, printers, and office equipment.
• Support daily front desk operations and hospital workflow.
