Job summary

Community Animal Hospital of Royal Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited team. This full-time role offers a four-day workweek, no nights or on-call shifts, and opportunities to work with a wide variety of species while delivering high-quality medicine.

You will assist veterinarians during exams and procedures, monitor anesthesia, perform lab work, manage records, educate clients, and collaborate with a supportive, family-like team that values

Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary technician with clinical practice.
• Proficient in venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, lab diagnostics, radiology.
• Strong communication and client-service skills.
• Able to thrive in a busy hospital and work with a collaborative team.
• Training with ezyVet is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during appointments, treatments, procedures, and dentistry.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including catheter placement, blood collection, and anesthesia support.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical and dental procedures.
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples for in-house and reference labs.
• Assist with radiographs and ultrasound procedures.
• Maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment.
• Prepare exam rooms and document patient histories and medical records.
• Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Answer phones and provide excellent client service.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver outstanding patient care.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
