About Us

Sugar Hill Animal Hospital is a fast-paced, AAHA accredited clinic with long workdays. We are seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Representative/Receptionist. Saturdays are required; Sundays closed.

We are a high-quality, multi-doctor, full-service hospital. Candidates should have a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and a desire for long-term employment. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment.

The CSR handles multiple phone lines, schedules appointments, greets clients, processes payments, and maintains a clean, presentable reception area. Candidates should excel in client service, sales, communication, and multi-tasking. Knowledge of Avimark software is a plus. At least 1 year of customer service experience is required.

Job Summary

The Receptionist is the first and last point of contact, creating lasting impressions. Must have excellent client service, communication skills, computer literacy, and confidence in handling financial transactions. Supports staff in daily client and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets positively.
• Answer phones professionally and route calls appropriately.
• Schedule appointments and surgeries, and confirm them.
• Document client conversations accurately.
• Process charges and explain invoices.
• Collect payments and verify client accounts.
• Update and verify medical and contact records.
• Handle prescriptions and provide routine instructions.
• Advise clients on retail products and preventative care.
