At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are essential to the success of our hospital. In this role, you are the first BluePearl Associate that clients encounter. You will ensure each client receives the care and attention they need, functioning calmly and compassionately in emotionally challenging situations.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, your responsibilities include:

1. Greeting clients warmly and professionally every time they enter the hospital.
2. Offering a friendly smile, maintaining strong eye contact, and displaying an approachable demeanor.
3. Listening compassionately to clients.
4. Communicating clearly and calmly in person and on the phone.
5. Assessing clients' needs and their pets' conditions upon arrival.
6. Determining emergency status of arrivals.
7. Responding to non-patient calls and visitors, connecting them to appropriate team members.
8. Confirming appointments and providing clients with preparation instructions.
9. Offering emotional support and resources to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
10. Serving as a liaison during pet remains handling, ensuring a complete and respectful process.
