Job summary

VetNetAmerica’s Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Sonoma and Marin Counties is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to support the launch and expansion of general practice services. This role will collaborate with the Hospital Administrator to strengthen day-to-day operations and position the hospital for long-term growth.

The ideal candidate has veterinary hospital leadership experience, excels at building systems, and enjoys developing teams in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of veterinary operations or leadership in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management or related field preferred.
• Experience with veterinary practice management systems (Instinct or similar) and scheduling tools.
• CVPM or related leadership/HR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Hospital Administrator on daily operations and initiatives.
• Design workflows, scheduling, and process improvements.
• Develop, implement and refine hospital policies and SOPs.
• Provide leadership to clinical and client service teams and mentor staff.
• Monitor staffing trends and ensure appropriate coverage.
• Uphold high standards of client communication and service.
• Support compliance, infection control, and safety programs.
