Skyline Pet is seeking a seasoned Veterinary Practice Manager to lead the reopening of GoodNeighbor Vista Boulevard Animal Hospital in Sparks, NV. You’ll shape hospital culture, build a strong team, and set workflows from day one.

This role oversees recruitment, daily operations, budgeting, inventory, and client experience to ensure exceptional care for pets and their families during the relaunch. A 1–2+ years background in veterinary practice management and a proactive, systems-building mindset

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of veterinary practice management experience required.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing hospital operations.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing budgets, inventory, and operational performance.
• A proactive leader who thrives in building systems and teams.
• Experience helping open or relaunch a veterinary hospital is a plus.

We are seeking a seasoned Veterinary Practice Manager to lead the reopening of GoodNeighbor Vista Boulevard Animal Hospital (previously Sage Veterinary Care). This is a unique opportunity to build a team, shape hospital culture, and play a key leadership role from day one.

The Practice Manager will play a key role in preparing the hospital for reopening, recruiting and developing a strong team, and ensuring the hospital operates smoothly while delivering exceptional care to pets and their families.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Hospital Reopening

• Partner with leadership and the Medical Director to prepare the hospital for a successful reopening
• Help rebuild a strong, collaborative team culture
• Establish workflows, processes, and operational standards

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, hire, and onboard veterinary support staff
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for the team
• Foster a positive, supportive, and high-performing work environment

Hospital Operations & Performance

• Oversee daily hospital operations and ensure efficient workflows
• Monitor key performance metrics and help drive hospital growth
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and operational priorities

Financial & Inventory Management

• Manage hospital budgets and expenses, including inventory and labor
• Ensure effective inventory management and supply ordering
• Partner with leadership to support the hospital’s financial success

Client Experience

• Promote an exceptional client experience and high-quality patient care
• Support the team in handling client concerns and creating lasting relationships with pet owners
