Job summary

Sequist Animal Hospital in Morrisville, VT is seeking a seasoned Practice Manager to lead daily operations, ensure high‑quality patient care, and deliver outstanding client service in partnership with AmeriVet.

You will supervise staff, oversee budgeting and billing, plan marketing and community outreach, and maintain compliance with OSHA and veterinary regulations while supporting growth. The role requires 3–5 years in management, CVPM/CVBL preferred, and proven P&L expertise.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related area are preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all practice staff, including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and support staff.
• Oversee budgeting, billing and expense management and review reports regularly.
• Build and maintain exceptional client relations and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Manage daily operations: inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Lead marketing strategies and community outreach to attract and retain clients.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations, OSHA, and record-keeping requirements.
• Train staff on practice technology and coordinate with IT support.
