Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related areas are preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all practice staff, including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and support staff.
• Responsible for staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Develop and optimize staff schedules to balance patient needs and labor costs.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
• Act as a champion for new initiatives by motivating the team to achieve goals.
• Oversee budgeting, billing and expense management and review reports for action planning.
• Lead client relations by delivering exceptional service and addressing feedback promptly.
• Ensure smooth daily operations including inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and support retention.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and labor laws; maintain records and data confidentiality.
• Train staff on practice technology and coordinate with IT for needs.
