Job summary

Griffith Veterinary Hospital in Westland, MI is seeking a Practice Manager to lead daily operations and profitability. You will oversee HR, budgeting, client service, and IT management while partnering with the Managing Doctor to ensure high-quality patient care and exceptional client experiences.

You will build efficient workflows, coach staff, and drive strategic initiatives with the MDVM to grow the practice and protect its legacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree a plus.
• Practice Manager certification is advantageous.
• Candidate should have experience managing a veterinary practice.

Responsibilities

• Manages practice financial performance and drives revenue growth.
• Oversees expenses including pharmacy, supplies, labor, and facilities.
• Ensures inventory management and pricing accuracy.
• Partners with MDVM to maintain medical records and compliance.
• Creates and analyzes performance reports for improvement.
• Leads staff scheduling and coordinates vendor relations.
• Collaborates with marketing to support community initiatives.
• Ensures regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, EEOC, ADA).
