Spencer Creek Animal Hospital, part of Heartland Veterinary Partners, seeks a Practice Manager to lead daily operations, financial performance, and client service excellence in St. Peters, MO.

You will orchestrate HR, marketing, IT, and strategic planning while ensuring top-quality patient care and a positive client experience. You will partner with the MDVM to optimize profitability, drive growth, and maintain Heartland standards across the practice.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and client service mindset.
• Experience leading teams in a veterinary/practice setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of payroll, scheduling, and HR processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage practice financial performance and drive revenue growth.
• Oversee expenses including pharmacy, supplies, labor, and facilities.
• Ensure inventory management and pricing accuracy in collaboration with MDVM.
• Develop and monitor performance reports; provide insights for improvement.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and safety across the practice.
• Lead staff scheduling, payroll, and HR-related activities.
• Partner with Heartland Marketing for local initiatives and community relations.
• Foster staff development, coaching, and performance evaluations.
