Job summary

West Boca Veterinary Center is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead the hospital team, partnering with the Lead Veterinarian to oversee day-to-day operations across departments including marketing, payroll, IT, recruiting, and finance. This full-time role reports to the Regional Director of Operations and requires on-site presence.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of supervisory experience, with veterinary practice management preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Veterinary practice management experience preferred, although strong candidates from other service industries will be considered.

Responsibilities

• People Management: recruiting, developing, disciplining, and terminating paraprofessional staff, including annual performance reviews.
• Financial Management: overseeing the hospital’s P&L, including accounts payable/accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory.
• Customer Service: resolving client issues and escalations and overseeing follow-up communications.
• This position requires regular on-site presence as an essential function of the role, with in-person attendance necessary to support patient care and team collaboration.

Description

We are seeking a dynamic Practice Manager to join our hospital team!

About the Position:

In partnership with the Lead Veterinarian, the Practice Manager plays an integral role in leading the hospital team and providing excellent customer service to our patients. The practice manager is responsible for day-to-day hospital operations and serves as a liaison between the hospital team and our corporate support functions, including: marketing, payroll, IT, recruiting, finance, etc. This is a full-time position reporting to the Regional Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• People Management: recruiting, developing, disciplining, and terminating paraprofessional staff, including annual performance reviews
• Financial Management: overseeing the hospital’s P&L, including accounts payable/accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory
• Customer Service: resolving client issues and escalations and overseeing follow-up communications

Skills Knowledge, & Expertise

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
