Banfield Pet Hospital in California is seeking a Shift Lead to perform the duties of a Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant when not filling in, helping the Practice Manager and Chief of Staff guide the team to maximize productivity and profitability.

You will supervise the team day-to-day, ensure quality medical care and exceptional client service, educate clients about wellness plans, coordinate scheduling, and uphold practice policies.

Qualifications

• The right person will support hospital leadership to develop an efficient, productive team; deliver high-quality care and service to pets and clients.
• Follow Banfield protocols to achieve practice priorities while building culture and brand.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of the team when needed, ensuring quality medical care and excellent client service.
• Create an environment where the team delivers quality veterinary care and engages associates.
• Provide client education about wellness plans, preventive care, and hospital services; resolve client issues.
• Assist in scheduling associates to meet client needs; plan time off and CE scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with practice policies and dress and grooming guidelines.
