GoodVets is seeking a Hospital Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, inventory, compliance, and performance reporting across our hospital. You will balance hands-on leadership with strategic oversight to deliver exceptional veterinary care and client experiences.

You will hire, train, and coach team members, generate monthly performance insights, and maintain cost controls in a growth-focused culture that values empathy and excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people-management skills in a veterinary setting.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and schedules effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced hospital.
• Experience with practice-management software and Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily hospital operations.
• Ensure compliance with operating standards and requirements.
• Create and maintain accurate work schedules.
• Hire, train, and onboard new team members—setting performance and culture standards.
• Prepare monthly reports on hospital performance, staffing, margins, and trends.
• Conduct performance reviews and coach for growth.
• Monitor inventory, manage ordering, and control costs.
• Support doctors, staff, and clients with clarity and professionalism.
