Job summary

PetVet Care Centers is seeking a Hospital Manager to lead a comprehensive veterinary hospital team in Marina del Rey, focusing on efficient operations, revenue management, and superior patient care. The role partners with the Veterinarian to ensure a high-quality client experience and strong financial performance.

The Hospital Manager will oversee labor, budgets, inventory, and billing practices while maintaining licensure and compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years of direct office management experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience may be considered.
• Ability to provide customer service in a courteous, prompt, and efficient manner.
• Computer proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and applicable software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff within all hospital support departments and achieves labor goals.
• Hires and trains office and clinic staff; handles new-hire paperwork.
• Orients and trains new clinic staff to hospital duties.
• Reviews performance of direct reports and provides feedback weekly with Regional Manager.
• Manages schedules for technical and administrative staff and coordinates with DVM.
