Job summary

Petco’s veterinary practice is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead daily hospital operations and support a team of veterinary professionals. You will work closely with veterinarians and retail partners to deliver excellent patient care and a seamless client experience.

The role requires 2–3 years in veterinary settings, strong leadership, and the ability to manage scheduling, inventory, and records.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a veterinary practice
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage scheduling, inventory, and client relations
• Experience with P&L and budgeting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital paraprofessionals to drive operational excellence and patient care quality
• Coordinate with veterinarians to maintain cohesive team culture and scheduling
• Oversee day-to-day operations including scheduling, inventory, invoicing, and records in the practice management system
• Hire, train, and mentor paraprofessional staff and coordinate with HR
• Review monthly P&L and collaborate with leadership to meet financial targets and improve revenue
