Job summary

Lakefield Veterinary Group is seeking an Assistant Hospital Administrator for an on-site role at a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital in Minnesota. You will work with Hospital Administrator, Medical Director, and Area Manager to keep operations running smoothly, support our team, and ensure exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance and a positive workplace culture.

You will help recruit, onboard, coach, and recognize staff, manage daily operations, and collaborate on facilities,

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
2+ years in operations, finance, facilities, HR, or related area.
Hospital management experience in veterinary medicine or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

Build a great team culture through respect, communication, learning, collaboration, and fun.
Recruit, onboard, coach, mentor, and recognize team members while fostering a positive workplace.
Partner with hospital leadership on daily operations, financial performance, business development, facilities, and HR.
Create a seamless, compassionate experience for clients and their pets, even in stressful emergencies.
Build relationships with local veterinary practices and community partners; support hospital marketing.
Promote compliance and improve hospital processes and safety.
