Job summary

South Metro Animal Emergency Care, a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital, is seeking an Assistant Hospital Administrator to join our leadership team. You’ll help keep hospital operations running smoothly, support our team, and create an environment where veterinary professionals can focus on patient care.

Qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 2+ years in operations, finance, facilities or HR, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Two or more years of experience in operations, financial or facilities management, human resources, or a related area.
• Ideally, one year of hospital management experience in veterinary medicine or human healthcare.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to adapt, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to confidentiality.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ADP Workforce One, and veterinary practice management systems is beneficial.
