Job summary

VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists (NWVS) is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our front desk team and be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience.

The role includes managing appointments, client communication, and administrative tasks; full-time schedule with some weekends and holidays. Compensation is $21/hr, with starting range determined by experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or veterinary setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software.
• Passion for animals and a commitment to client education.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient check-ins/check-outs, and process payments.
• Educate clients on hospital services, wellness plans, and pet care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
• Assist in handling client concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary teams to ensure smooth hospital operations.
