Qualifications

• Previous animal-care or veterinary experience is required.
• Previous veterinary receptionist or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional, courteous, and compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective in a busy veterinary environment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to your team.
• Comfort working around dogs, cats, and other companion animals.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate service to clients and their pets.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions and inquiries.
• Schedule and manage veterinary appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Welcome clients and patients and provide a positive front-desk experience.
• Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient information.
• Process payments and assist with client accounts.
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other team members.
• Help coordinate communication between the front desk and medical team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Assist with daily front-office operations and administrative duties as needed.
• Protect client confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and compassion even during busy or challenging situations.
