Job summary

United Veterinary Care is seeking a Part-Time Client Care Representative for Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital. The role supports high-quality patient care by greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and collecting information to update pet charts.

Responsibilities include answering phones, processing payments, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. The position requires 2+ years in customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma
• Two years minimum customer service experience
• Basic computer knowledge
• Know how to operate basic office equipment
• Knowledge of the veterinary field is preferred, but not required
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to forty (40) pounds.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiple line phones
• Schedule appointments
• Greet clients upon arrival
• Prepare and collect information from clients to create or update their pet’s chart
• Explain hospital policy as it applies to payment for services rendered
• Faxing, filing, mailing
• Reminder calls
• Performing end-of-day duties
• Properly use the computer to schedule appointments, enter new client and new pet information, and generate invoices
• Appropriately prepare billings, receipts, collect, and record all payments for services rendered
• Consistent, on time arrival and attendance at work each day you are scheduled
• Always be in position and prepared to work at the start of each shift
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well with others as a team
