Job summary

All Animal Hospital in Tupelo, Mississippi, is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist who brings strong customer service, organization, and a genuine interest in veterinary medicine. If you have experience in veterinary reception, medical reception, healthcare, or another fast-paced client-facing environment, we want to meet you.

We are building a veterinary hospital where great medicine and great client service go hand in hand.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and appointments.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Comfortable discussing veterinary services, estimates, and payments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with a friendly, professional approach.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client questions.
• Obtain and update patient medical histories and records.
• Review vaccination and testing requirements.
• Check clients in and out and process payments accurately.
• Communicate patient arrivals, concerns, and treatment needs with the medical team.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient and client information in hospital software.
• Support daily front-desk workflow and help create a positive client experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Assist with additional hospital responsibilities as needed.
